So this all sounds good and well Kevin, but how does the whole booking process work?

Sure! So it's simple.

After providing a few small details about your event, I will reach out to you personally and setup a consultation through online chat or a simple phone call to discuss everything. And that will include all of the options we currently offer and how we can best serve you to meet the unique demands for your event.

Provided we are a great fit, you will sign a simple agreement with us and send in a small retainer to secure your date. One of the best things here, is that your final payment will not be due until the day of once you've already seen us start to setup and get ready to sweat.

It's all in the details! This is what I like to call the smoothing and refining process. I will meet with you and discuss every single little thing. And I mean everything from helping you select a venue if you haven't already chosen one, to nailing down musical selection and preferences, answering any questions you may have and making some recommendations, and ironing out a personalized timeline that will help your event go without a hitch. Also I'll recommend a few tweaks that can be done to enhance your chosen venue to create that party vibe and atmosphere we are going for. Plus, help give you some recommendations on other vendors, such as photographers, so on and so forth, etc. If you have never thrown an event before or have little familiarity with throwing events, I can guarantee you that's an area we will be able to assist with during the planning process.

From the start Kevin was amazing. He kept in constant contact and was always asking the right questions and following up to ensure the event would unfold as envisioned. He was very prepared and clearly demonstrated his vast experience in his craft by walking through how he would be operating. Furthermore, he utilized his prior knowledge to help ensure that the vision we had for the event was fully realized. Perhaps his best quality was his patience in dealing with the hectic nature that comes with planning a wedding reception — further demonstrating his vast experience — and showing an excellent disposition to quickly take in additions/changes as they came and implement them flawlessly.

As for the event itself, he was fantastic. He was in communication the day of to make sure he would arrive on location with more than ample time to set up and make certain his equipment and setup was in order. His performance at the event was equally fantastic, with a focus on the energy of the event he was able to keep everyone engaged and entertained. There was never a dull moment.

I am Kevin Sounds. Pro Event Host, DJ, MC, & Officiant

Been in the entertainment industry for 10+ years

Why did I get into this business?

So funny story, I've always had a love for music and a love for people. I actually work in healthcare as well, so helping people comes naturally to me and I'm blessed to say that I can do it on a daily basis. Seeing people at the absolute height of happiness for their special day, whether it be a birthday party, wedding, or anything between is one thing that brings great pleasure to me.

So where am I from?

I'm from Northern NJ, where you can find some of the best comfort food around.

What are my hobbies?

Too many to list here haha but I'll give you a few...learning new things, hiking, dancing, and martial arts (currently only a couple of years away from my black belt)
